You cannot think your way into a regulated nervous system.

But you can breathe, move, and notice your way there.

Somatic healing and trauma-informed yoga for women navigating burnout, autism, perimenopause, and menopause.

If your body has been running on empty

You’ve been holding it together for a long time. The exhaustion isn’t laziness — it’s your nervous system running on empty. Whether you’re burned out, struggling with your autism, moving through perimenopause, or just can’t seem to find solid ground, this work meets you in the body where the patterns actually live.

This work is for you if:

  • You’re exhausted in a way sleep doesn’t fix

  • Your body feels like it’s constantly braced for something

  • You’re in perimenopause or menopause and your nervous system feels hijacked

  • You’re autistic and looking for a practitioner who actually gets it

  • You’ve tried talking about it and it hasn’t been enough

How we work together

I built this because the wellness space wasn’t built for nervous systems like mine.

I’m Jennifer — a somatic practitioner, yoga teacher, and autistic human who has spent a lot of time learning to work with my nervous system instead of against it. That experience is not incidental to this work. It is the work.

I hold a 200-hr yoga teacher certification, a trauma-informed certification, and a somatic healing certification — plus a decade of clinical anatomy experience. I understand the body from the inside out.

The work here is slow, honest, and body-led. Or you can find me as aqkwrds.

Your nervous system is not broken. It learned to survive.

Somatic work doesn’t fix that — it builds new capacity alongside it. Sessions are virtual, one-on-one, and never follow a fixed script. We start with where you are. We work with what your body is ready for.

There will be pauses. Silence. Attention to small physical details that might seem inconsequential — the weight of your feet, the quality of your breath, a subtle shift in your shoulders. These are not distractions from the work. They are the work.
